Two of the biggest sides in the English Premier League will be taking on each other for the big match on 20th August 2011 as Arsenal host Liverpool for the 2nd fixture of the Premier League. Both of these teams are coming into this match on the back of drawing against Newcastle United and Sunderland respectively but now they will be hoping to get over it and start winning matches.
Arsenal are in a very delicate postion right now, they sold their most priced asset in Cesc Fabregas who has been sold to Barcelona, and Arsenal dont have a well recognized midfielder now and they will be hoping to go out in the transfer window and get a couple of good players to fill the gap which has been left by Fabregas. Arsenal could not score last week against Newcastle United and they did manage to grap a 1-0 win against Italians in the Qualifiers in Champions League for the first leg.
Liverpool on the other hand, started out so brightly against Sunderalnd at home, as Luiz Suarez scored in the opening 15 minutes although he already missed a penalty, but the story was kind of similar to last season as they could not hold on to their lead and drew 1-1.
